SILK LASH EMPIRE

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 10, 2026

This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our websites, follow our links, book or receive services, submit forms or waitlist requests, contact us, participate in events, or inquire about or purchase training.

1. About this policy

Silk Lash Empire, LLC (Silk Lash Empire, SLE, or we) operates a salon and SLE Lash Lab Academy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our websites, follow our links, book or receive services, submit forms or waitlist requests, contact us, participate in events, or inquire about or purchase training.

2. Personal information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us. It may include:

  • Contact and client information

Your first and last name, email, mobile phone, mailing or contact address, date of birth where collected for salon services, and client records.

  • Appointments and scheduling

Selected services and artist, appointment dates and times, whether you have existing lash extensions, booking and verification information, policy acknowledgments, and appointment and payment status.

  • Waitlist requests

When you submit an appointment waitlist form, your name, email, mobile phone, earliest and latest preferred dates, preferred time or daypart, scheduling flexibility, short-notice availability, and optional availability notes. The form may also receive relevant booking and request context, such as your selected service and whether you have existing lash extensions.

  • Salon consultation and service information

Consultation, consent and client check-in information, allergy or sensitivity history, and service-related health and safety information voluntarily provided because it may affect whether a lash or brow service can be performed. We use this information for salon service and safety decisions, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Separate optional photo or video permissions and service concerns may also be recorded.

  • Payments and purchases

Services or courses purchased, amounts, transaction references, payment status, and information needed for receipts and payment support. Payment providers collect the payment details needed to process your transaction, as explained below.

  • Forms, communications and preferences

Messages, support requests, marketing choices and consent records; Academy contact and enrollment information, course selections, offer interest and self-reported license status; and event interest, RSVP or event waitlist information, such as arrival preferences, guest counts and experience interests.

  • Device, usage and advertising information

IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, selected interactions, performance and security information, referring sources, campaign and advertising identifiers, booking information, cookie choices, and consent records. Communications providers may also report delivery, opens and link clicks.

3. Where information comes from

We receive information directly from you through booking, salon consultation and check-in, online or paper forms, purchases, email, phone and other communications. We also receive information from appointment activity and the providers that process bookings, payments, form submissions and communications for us.

Our websites and service providers collect technical information from your browser or device. Referral links, advertising platforms and campaign links may supply source or advertising identifiers. Our links may pass permitted campaign information to the destination website. Salon staff record information you provide and relevant appointment or service outcomes.

4. How we use information

  • Appointments and waitlists

Use contact and scheduling information to check availability, verify your phone, process bookings, maintain appointment records, and help you complete an interrupted booking. For an appointment waitlist, we review your preferences, evaluate whether an opening fits, contact you about a match, and keep an operational record of the request. Joining the waitlist does not reserve an appointment and does not involve payment.

  • Salon services and training

Use client, consultation, consent and service information to prepare for and provide salon services, assess service suitability, address concerns, and manage Academy inquiries and enrollment.

  • Transactions and support

Use contact, appointment, purchase and communication information for confirmations, receipts, preparation details, requested event updates, customer support, payment processing, accounting and related recordkeeping.

  • Security and business records

Use relevant technical, verification, transaction and consent information to detect misuse, prevent fraud, troubleshoot errors, document choices, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.

  • Measurement and improvement

Use website interactions, performance information, campaign sources and booking outcomes to understand use of our services, improve the experience and measure advertising results. The technologies and choices involved are described below.

  • Optional marketing

Use contact details and separately provided marketing preferences for promotional communications where authorized. Booking, joining a waitlist, receiving an operational message or acknowledging this policy does not by itself provide marketing consent.

5. How we disclose information

We disclose information to providers that help deliver the service or purpose involved:

  • Booking and client management

Contact, appointment and relevant service information to schedule and manage visits and maintain client records.

  • Forms and communications

Information submitted through forms, contact details, request or appointment context, and communication preferences to collect requests, deliver messages and manage responses.

  • Payment processing

Purchase, contact and payment-related information to process transactions, provide receipts and resolve payment issues.

  • Hosting, storage and security

Information needed to operate and support our websites and business systems, including stored client and transaction records and technical request information.

  • Analytics and advertising

Usage, device, campaign and booking-outcome information for measurement; certain advertising matching may also use hashed contact identifiers, as described below. Advertising providers may process information under their own terms and are not necessarily acting only on our behalf.

  • Legal and business needs

Relevant records where required by law, to protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or address a business transfer. Professional advisers may receive records needed for the accounting or legal matter involved.

6. Payments

Our custom salon booking checkout and applicable Academy purchases use Stripe to process payments. Other appointment transactions may be handled through the salon booking platform or its payment providers. Payment details are submitted to the payment provider; SLE does not receive complete payment-card numbers through these website checkout flows. We receive transaction references, amounts and status information needed to manage your purchase and related records.

Stripe also handles payment information under its own Privacy Policy.

7. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our websites, protect them, support booking, remember choices, and measure website use and advertising. CookieHub provides Cookie settings, where you can review or change your choices. It records those choices along with related technical information and when you made them. Your browser can also block or delete cookies.

We measure how people use our websites and booking experience to improve our services. Some measurement on silklashempire.com works without analytics cookies and continues independently of your cookie choice. On booking.silklashempire.com, product analytics depend on Analytics consent. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, verification codes, or sensitive salon consultation and form responses to these product analytics. This measurement does not record your browsing session or automatically capture what you type into forms.

Google Analytics and Google Ads help us understand website use and campaign results. Some limited Google measurement may continue without cookies when consent is denied. Meta Pixel measures selected website visits and booking interactions after Marketing consent.

To measure advertising results, we may report verified booking outcomes to Google and Meta, including campaign or click identifiers, transaction references, timing and value. Where the booking Marketing choice permits Meta measurement, this may also include browser and advertising identifiers and hashed email or phone identifiers for advertising matching. Hashing transforms contact details into coded identifiers; it does not necessarily make the information anonymous to a provider able to match it.

SLE does not sell personal information for monetary payment. We use advertising and measurement providers to promote and measure SLE’s own services. Depending on applicable privacy law and the particular advertising activity, certain disclosures may be treated as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. Advertising providers may connect information with activity over time and across websites under their own practices. Available rights depend on the law that applies to you and to SLE; see Your privacy choices below.

Your browser may offer privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track. You can review or change your website choices through Cookie settings and contact us about privacy requests. Rights relating to browser privacy signals depend on applicable law. See Your privacy choices below.

You can also review Google’s advertising controls, the Google Analytics opt-out tool, and Meta’s advertising preferences. These provider controls have their own scope and do not replace your choices on our websites.

Our Contact page includes Google Maps, and our websites link to other third-party services. When you use those services, their own privacy practices also apply.

8. Operational messages and optional marketing

Operational communications support something you requested, such as phone verification, appointment confirmations, booking-completion recovery, a waitlist response, service preparation, receipts, event-specific updates or customer support. These messages do not enroll you in optional marketing.

Joining an appointment waitlist is not marketing consent. We use the contact details you submit to manage that request and contact you about a matching opening. Ongoing promotional email and SMS are separate choices; SMS marketing requires explicit consent.

You can unsubscribe from promotional email using the link in the message and opt out of SMS marketing using the instructions provided. We may still send non-marketing messages needed to process a transaction, provide a requested service or respond to you. Contact us if you want to withdraw a waitlist request or change how we contact you about it.

9. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose involved. Relevant considerations include whether an appointment, waitlist request or support matter remains active; the need for service, transaction and consent records; and legal, accounting, dispute-resolution and security needs. Different records may be kept for different lengths of time. You can contact us about deletion of your information, subject to applicable requirements and exceptions.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

11. Your privacy choices

You can contact us to ask about your personal information, request access, correction or deletion, update contact preferences, or withdraw a waitlist request. Use the cookie controls and marketing opt-out methods described above for those choices. Please provide enough information for us to locate your request without sending payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, including applicable California law, you may have rights to know about or obtain a copy of personal information, correct or delete it, opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, or limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. Where applicable, you may use an authorized agent and exercise rights without unlawful discrimination. Requests may require identity or authority verification and may be subject to legal exceptions.

The availability and scope of statutory rights depend on legal applicability. This policy does not state that SLE meets every law’s business thresholds. Contact us using the details below to submit a privacy request or ask about these choices.

12. Children

The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Separate age and guardian requirements may apply to specific salon services. SLE Lash Lab enrollment is limited to adults age 18 or older.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our data practices or applicable requirements change. We will identify the effective date of the published policy on this page.
